Live & Local Poetry

Common Grounds Coffee House has been continuously hosting the popular Lexington writing group Poezia since its inception. The workshops are conducted by Poezia founder and leader Katerina Stoykova-Klemer), the author of the bilingual book, “The Air around the Butterfly / Въздухът около пеперудата,” and the English language chapbook, “The Most.”

If you're interested in other Poezia readings, Poezia will be involved with a reading called "Stars with Accents" on October 8, 7-10pm at the Carnegie Center, and hosted by WRFL's Accents radio show as part of the weekend-long Boomslang festival.

It is encouraged you bring something with you to read and someone else with you to share your experience.
